Spanish sides Getafe and Rayo Vallecano have expressed interest in signing Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey for the upcoming season.

The 22-year-old excelled while on loan at Spanish side Almeria which seems to have attracted interest from clubs in the La Liga.

Partey who scored four goals in 31 appearances for relegated Almeria last season was on loan from Atletico Madrid.

According to AS, Getafe and Rayo Vallecano both made enquiries over a move this summer over signing the Ghanaian player.

The 22-year-old has been with Atletico since 2011, but has not yet made his first-team debut for the Spanish giants.

Last season, the Ghana midfielder scored four league goals in 31 games for Almeria and proved to be one of the most impressive performers in the second half of the campaign.
