Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan has praised Coach David Duncan for his resurgence at Kotoko after returning from his loan spell at WAFA.

The 22-year old goalie last season who was loan at WAFA he had great a season at the Sogakope-based club which caught the attention of the Kumasi-based club.

The Asante Kotoko gaffer re-called him ahead of the 2016 Ghana Premier League.

However, in the club’s pre-season game in Libya, he was named as the number shot stopper and was superb in the two friendly games despite conceding two goals.

“I give praise to coach Duncan for my current form. When I was coming back to Kotoko from WAFA he called me and really spoke to me very well.

“He told me he really want me to be part of his team and for him he is going to be fair.

He told me if any of the goalies is good and on top of his form, he is going to let you play and he is not going to use anything except performance,” Annan told Ghanasoccernet.com.

Annan says praising Duncan is significant because he has really stuck with his words.

The young goalie praised the Kotoko gaffer following his heroic display last Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in an in-house friendly game where he saved two penalty kicks to help his Kotoko Libya team to triumph over their GHALCA G-6 winning team by 8-7 on penalties.
