An Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Chairperson of the Women’s League Board, Madam Linear Addy, has expressed her frustration with the preparation of the Black Queens of Ghana for the African Women’s Championship.

The ladies are yet to return to camp ahead of the tournament in December and are also expected to face stiff opposition in Group B, where they will square off with Nigeria, Kenya, and Mali.

Ms Addy told Class Sports: “We don’t know when we will be in camp as of yet and that is quite frustrating. The ladies should have gone to camp on the 1st of September, but as it stands now we still haven’t done that. We have spoken to the Sports Ministry, which has assured us things will be sorted out soon; but I just don’t know when that will be.”
