Hearts fans attempt to assault Kwesi Nyantakyi

Three unnamed Hearts of Oak fans attempted to assault Ghana FA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, after the Phobian’s 1-0 defeat to AC Djoliba on Sunday, Dailysoccerghana.com can confirm.

The Phobia supporters wanted to attack the CAF Executive Committee member following the GFA’s decision to turn down a request to postpone the final game of the Ghana Premier League first round against AshantiGold SC last Wednesday.

According to these aficionados, the FA’s refusal to grant a postponement affected the players of the Rainbow club, who looked fatigued against the Malian club during the continental assignment.

Nyantakyi was present at the Accra Stadium to support the Rainbow club after returning from Tamale, where he watched the Black Meteors lash Liberia 5-1 in the Olympic Games 2016 qualifiers.
