Black Stars will spend ten days in Seville - Konadu reveals

Ghana assistant coach Maxwell Konadu has revealed the Black Stars will spend ten days in Seville before moving to Mongomo for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The team adopted Europe as their base for preparations before the AFCON in Equatorial Guinea next year.

Coach Avram Grant will settle on his final 23-man squad for the tournament at the end of the camping.

The Israeli coach has named a provisional squad of 31 players which excludes World Cup troublemakers Sulley Muntari, Michael Essien and Kevin-Prince Boateng.

“We are looking at spending only ten days in Europe before leaving for Equatorial Guinea,” Konadu said.

“The coach is expected in this weekend, so once he arrives, we will take it from there.”

Ghana is in the Group of Death, comprising Senegal, Algeria and South Africa.
