Use Bible to train youth

Right Reverend Francis B. Quashie, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Koforidua has called on Christian leaders to teach the true gospel to mould the lives of the young ones.

He said the leaders would be leaving good legacies when they imbued in the youth who are future leaders, Christian virtues for them to move away from vices such smoking, alcoholism and sexual immoralities.

Rt Rev Quashie made the call during the 70th anniversary celebration of the St Matthew Anglican Church at Adeiso on the theme: “Praise the Lord, Oh my soul and forget not all His benefits (Psalm 103:1-3).”

He urged the youth to take bible classes seriously so as to live a righteous life and become responsible adults in future.

Rev Fr Samuel Benjamin Anim the host said the Adeiso branch of the church had about 200 boys and girls in the bible class and they were being taught to be God fearing, respectful and also take the bible as their companion.
