Four Square Gospel Church mark 40th Anniversary

with Health Walk and Blood Donation

The Four Square Gospel Church in Ghana has celebrated their 40th anniversary with a health walk that attracted a large number of the congregation and some new members.
The event which took place on Saturday July 19, 2014 saw the church members walking through the location of the headquarters through some principal streets of Accra to Kaneshie and back to Mataheko.
Pastor Ebenezer Botwi, Chairman of the 40 years anniversary committee told journalists who covered the walk that it is good for Christians to undertake physical activity like walking and jogging to keep them fit at all times for the Lord's duties.
He said a sound mind with a sound body can produced sound results for a sound nation.
According to Pastoe Botwi, the Four Square Gospel Church preaches love and the correct way to go to heaven and urge Ghanaians to live lives than can be emulated.
he said the church is growing very rapidly and they are building churches all over the regions of Ghana. he noted that 40 years is a remarkable achievement and they have to celebrate in grand style.
He called on Christians to unite and show through love to fellow Christians.
Sampson Hammond, a member of the anniversary planning committee said they organised the walk to create awareness of fitness and unity.
He said the church preaches total gospel and love as well as preparedness to go to heaven.
Members donated blood after the walk and they were congratulated by Rev. Christopher Marfo Ahinkorah, the General Overseer.
