Christians urged to be unwavering in faith

The General Overseer of the Pentecostal Believers’ Church, Reverend David Amardie Agyapong, has admonished Christians to remain steadfast and unwavering in their faith.

He said as followers of Christ, they should stick to the teachings of the gospel, continue to worship God in truth and keep to His commandments.

Rev. Agyapong was speaking at a service to end a six-day Christmas Retreat held by the church at Bohyen-Ampabame in Kumasi.

It was on the theme: “Never Lose Hope, God Can Change Your Situation”.

He reminded the congregation of the significance of Christmas – the powerful message of peace and sacrifice - and urged them to be good examples to the rest of society.

They should accept to play their expected roles well to grow the church and the nation.

The General Overseer encouraged them to adopt strong work ethics and help to reduce waste at their workplaces during the New Year.

He said Christians should help to increase productivity to promote economic prosperity and reduce poverty.

They should avoid activities that were likely to retard the nation’s development, he added.
