Royal Temple ICGC marks 15th anniversary

The Awoshie branch of the International Central Gospel Church, known as the Royal Temple on Sunday marked its 15th anniversary with a call on Christians to totally submit to God and His rules.

Addressing the congregation during a thanksgiving service on Sunday to climax the celebration, Reverend Morris Appiah, Deputy General Secretary, ICGC, appealed to Christians to walk in the light of God's word in other to attract His blessings.

"It is only when we have submitted to God's will totally that we can worship Him in truth and in spirit as stipulated in the Bible," he said.

He urged Christians to trust in God and always endeavour to go to Him in prayers and not to look anywhere for solutions to their challenges.

Rev Appiah challenged Christians to yield to the authority of Christ since He is the only one with the power to transform.

He noted that worshiping God was not only about going to church, but learning always to have intimate time with Him by learning His word always and praying regularly.

"We ought to know that God's presence only come when we learn to have regular intimate time with Him," he added.

Rev Samuel Awuku-Gyekye, Minister in charge of Royal Temple, entreated the youth in the country to eschew all social vices that did not augur well for the development of the nation.

He said the church which started 15 years ago as a fellowship now has a population of 800.
