Sir John urges Muslims to uphold the principles of Islam

Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and now Chief Executive Officer of Forestry Commission Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie affectionately known as Sir John on Sunday sent warm greetings to Muslims celebrating the end of Ramadan and urged them to continue to live by the principles of Islam, love each other and have hatred for none.

He comes as the first CEO of the Forestry Commission to break tradition to recognize the end of the holy month.

‘I wish to send my fraternal greetings and congratulations to Muslims all over Ghana for having gone through this holy month of Ramadan successfully’ Sir John Said in a statement.

It is my prayer that, the prayers offered during this holy month will receive answers from Almighty Allah. May Allah replenish each and every Muslim for their dedication to fast and pray for the peace and development of the nation’. He prayed

EID UL-FITR MESSAGE FROM KWADWO OWUSU AFRIYIE

I wish to send my fraternal greetings and congratulations to Muslims all over Ghana for having gone through this holy month of Ramadan successfully.

The month of Ramadan is very important in the life of each Muslim who is of good health. It is a month of spiritual renewal, forgiveness, and dedication to the principles of Islam.

It is my prayer that, the prayers offered during this holy month will receive answers from Almighty Allah. May Allah replenish each and every Muslim for their dedication to fast and pray for the peace and development of the nation.

I will urge us all to continue to live by the principles of Islam, love each other and have hatred for none.

May Allah bless us all.
