Bishop Nii Apiakai Tackie-Yarboi, the Founder of Victory Bible Church international (VBCI), has asked Christians to strive to win souls for Christ and love each other in 2017.

Ushering in the New Year at Dominion Sanctuary at Awoshie, in Accra, on the theme: "Manifesting His Glory," he asked the congregation to approach the year with a new beginning, and list the things they want to achieve in 2017.

Reverend Edmund Ankomah called on the congregation to look up to God as the source of their blessings and to be grateful to Him for seeing them through another year.

He buttressed his point with Proverbs 13: 2: "From the fruit of his mouth a good man eats good, but desire of the treacherous is for violence."

Rev Ankomah said one cannot experience God's glory if he or she was negative.

He said the battle for 2017 could be won through the word of God and winning souls for Christ Jesus.

Mr Richmond Dwamena Akenteng a leader of a choreography group of the VBCI, named Next Generation, led members to dance and praise God for giving them knowledge and strength to witness another blissful year .
