Bohyen circuit Methodist Church holds camp meeting

Esaso (Ash), March 21, GNA - A one-week camp meeting for 18 societies under the Bohyen circuit of the Methodist Church has ended at Esaso near Adankwame in the Atwima-Nwabiagya district. The theme for the meeting was; 93Jesus Christ Our Hope".

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr Thomas Ofori-Donkor, Atwima-Nwabiagya District Chief Executive, noted that Christians, as the light of the world, should lead exemplary lives for others to emulate. He said the maintenance of peace in the society was very important since without it there could be no worship. Mr Ofori-Donkor pointed out that the unity and sense of togetherness that was exhibited by Ghanaians in the country's golden jubilee celebrations should be sustained in subsequent years. He therefore called on Christians to continue to pray for Ghanaians to change their attitude and continue to swim in such a pool of unity.

The DCE later presented cash of one million cedis and Ghana @ 50 paraphernalia worth two million cedis to the congregation. The Reverend K.K. Sarpong of the Achiase Methodist Church thanked the DCE for honouring the invitation.
