Bawumia Wishes Fellow Muslims A Happy Eid Ul-Adha

I am elated to wish my fellow Muslims in Ghana and the world beyond, a Happy Eid ul-Adha on my own behalf and that of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo and the entirety of the NPP.
The festival of Eid ul-Adha reminds Muslims of the need to remain steadfast even in times of very serious challenges and the complexities of life with the hope that Allah would surely remain with us and lead us out of our difficulties into much better times as a result of our faith in his goodness.
As a reflection of our unconditional trust in Allah, Eid ul Adha also reminds us that sacrifice and difficulties are a test of one’s faith and principles and imparts lessons of courage for the believer to be more accepting of Allah’s will as He knows best.
It is my prayer to Allah almighty that all Muslims are blessed bountifully for their commitment, prayers and sacrifices. I also pray that Allah grants a speedy recovery to the sick and relief to those in dire times as we mark this festive occasion.
It is my hope that the celebration brings serenity, an atmosphere of fellow feeling and generosity among us and our communities and further helps in uniting our nation, Ghana, as we approach this year’s General Elections and beyond.
I also take this opportunity to congratulate all Muslims who were able to embark on the sacred Hajj pilgrimage in the Holy Land this year for a successful completion and it is my prayer that Allah brings them home safely.
May Allah bless and make us happy.
Barka Da Sallah
