Apostolic Church hold pre-Christmas convention at Kasoa

Kasoa (C/R), Dec. 16, GNA. - A three-day pre-Christmas convention of the Kasoa branch of the Apostolic Church, Ghana, ended on Sunday with a prophecy that no evil could reverse the clock of the country's progress. Pastor John Kofi Effah, in-charge of the Kasoa East made the prophecy at the convention on the theme: "salvation through Christ only".

According to the prophesy, culprits would be exposed, crushed and punished and "their fire would be extinguished", because of increasing care Jesus had for Ghana.

Apostle Joseph Anim, former president of the Church, who preached the sermon, urged the congregation to have explicit faith in God and cast their burdens on the Lord who would solve them. He said they should not be lured by those who would like to extort monies from them because there were people who claimed have the magic wand for solutions to their problems.

Apostle Anim said they should continue to serve God, be loyal to Him and not to bow to all other gods because they were the works of men. Over 500 faithful drawn from 35 assemblies attended the convention, organized jointly the Kasoa East and Nyanyano districts of the church.
