Voltaman, you are not the only one who has shown concern about the slowness in the completion of their lease documentation.
The issue is that Otumfuo introduced the project to cut out the unnecessary red tape at the Lands Registry which has worked to a great extent. Unfortunately, there are sill delays at the Lands Registry where all documents are sent to once The Asantehene's Lands Secretariat has completed the intial process. The delays are therefore not the fault of Otumfuo's Lands Secretariat.
Something that may interest you, if you care to know, is that The Otumfuo Lease Documentation Project has helped lots of Ghanaians in many ways:
1. The Project identified the plots that had been sold to different people by unscrupulous chiefs and land owners.
2. The Project saved saome people lots of money. One did not have to chase up their lease documents at the Lands Department where some civil servants extorted money from desperate plot owners. The payment was all-inclusive.
Finally, you may wish to know that Otumfuo provided jobs for lots of unemployed graduates who were taken on to drive the project.
To end my response, I wish you would undertand that as a result of Otumfuo's initiative, lease documentation has been computerised in the Ashanti Region, and that land ownership anddisputes are being reduced as a result.
Please seek information always before jumping on the band wagon of Otumfuo bashing. He is taking traditional leadership to a new level by grdually modernising it.

What is intriguing is that you appear to know who my brothers, supposedly Asantes, are but I do not know them. You probabaly think I am Asante because of my name. Mister, there is an Ewe man called Yaw Sarpong at sam and Bea Hotel in Jamasi. My own brother, a Ga, was called wku Duah. In his life, he only ever went to the Ashanti Regon once, and only stayed overnight.
If you think people are Asante because of their names, please be advised you may be wrong.
