The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Inusah Fuseini, has assured Ghanaians that there would be major improvements in his Ministry in the year 2014.
“Basically, 2014 will change. 2014 will see a significant departure from the challenges that we faced in 2013. I expect Ghanaians to expect more,” he stated.
He mentioned that despite the challenges that the Ministry faced in 2013, it has been resourced well enough to deliver on its mandate.
Speaking on Citi Fm’s News and Current Affairs Program, the Big Issue, Inusah Fuseini revealed that unlike last year where he had a budget of GHc52 million, this year, the budget was increased to more than GHc250 million an indication that government is determined to ensure that the ministry carries out its mandate accordingly.
He therefore asked Ghanaians to be patient as government delivers on its promises.
“I only wish that Ghanaians will exercise the due patience and decorum to be able to give the government time to implement these policies which will reflect in the welfare of the people of this country,” he added.
