The Northern Regional Secretariat of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has intensified its educational campaigns on the ongoing election petition case at the Supreme Court.
This is to prepare the minds of people in the north to accept any outcome of the case.
All district staff of the NCCE in the region are moving from house to house, schools and prayer grounds interacting with people.
Deputy Northern Regional Director of the NCCE, Eric Nawai told Citi News some local radio stations in Tamale have given the NCCE airtime to hype the campaign.
Mr. Nawai reminded leaders of the two main political parties to caution their supporters against the use of intemperate language when contributing to radio phone-in programmes on the Supreme Court sittings.
He also commended the Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Wood for telecasting live sittings.
