Sea of supporters throng the NDC's final rally grounds

A sea of supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Government on Wednesday thronged the Ghana International Trade Fair grounds to lend their support at the party's final campaign rally ahead of the Friday December 7 elections.

Clad in T-shirts of party colours of red, white, green and black of the presidential candidate, Mr John Dramani Mahama, the supporters lined up from the trade fair junction, created huge vehicular traffic as they proceeded to the rally grounds.

The enthusiastic supporters chanted, sung and danced to popular campaign songs composed for the party.

There were various supporting groups that thronged the event grounds to show their support to the party.

When John Dramani Mahama their flagbearer arrived, supporters chanted "Mahama Ede be keke” in excitement of their support for the party.

Business was booming at the event grounds as party paraphernalia were sold to supporters.

Hajia Salamatu, a businesswoman told the Ghana News Agency that business was good. She said she had sold about GH¢200 worth of products. ”Saturday by this time we will be rejoicing with the party leadership,” she added.

Fati Ali, a dealer in hats, said she was satisfied with the way party supporters patronized the paraphernalia.

Kofi Koffie, a supporter was of the view that the NDC should be given another four years to complete the developmental projects the government had started.
