Prince Amoabeng donates GH?50,000 to Enablis Ghana

Prince Kofi Amoabeng, Chief Executive Officer of Unique Trust (UT) Bank, has presented a cheque for GH?50,000 to Enablis Ghana for their commitment towards entrepreneurial development in Ghana.

He was selected among other Ghanaians as Ghana’s giant in the Johnnie Walker “Walk with the giants” Global Campaign, which sought to offer people the opportunity to take a walk with giant achievers to share insights on their journey to success.

“I am humbled and excited knowing that what was started on a small scale in Ghana has now become a global success story to inspire the younger generation,” he said.

“My passion is to see many more Kofi Amoabeng’s and the UT success story through the establishment of institutions and structures that support Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and help grow entrepreneurs who will serve their true purpose of helping to build Ghana’s economy.”

Mrs Shika Acolatse, Country Manager for Enablis Ghana receiving the cheque on Thursday, commended Prince Amoabeng for his commitment towards the country's economic growth.

She said the money would be used for capacity building for about 150 SMEs to help expand their businesses and operate in a professional manner to increase wealth.

Mr. Alan Mcleneon, Marketing Manager of Guinness Ghana Breweries said “The real measure of a giant is not how wealthy or successful they are but their ability to inspire others to take their own step forward in life”.

Prince Amoabeng would join other global business magnate such as Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson of UK, Haile Gebreselassie of Ethiopia, Lewis Hamilton of England, Manu Dibango of Cameroon and Ozwald Boateng, a British citizen of Ghanaian decent in the Johnnie Walker Giants.

They are individuals, who have made tremendous strides and giant leaps in their field and recognised locally and internationally.**
