Ho Zongo chiefs commend Municipal Chief Executive

Elders and opinion leaders at the Ho Central Zongo at the weekend commended Mr Isaac Kodobisah, Ho Municipal Chief Executive, for facelifts in the Zongo community.

They described him as “hardworking, development oriented and a positive leader.”

They made the commendation when Mr Kodobisah visited the community in the company of Mr Henry Ford Kamel, the Volta Regional Minister.

Alhaji Danjumah Hamza, Volta Regional Chief Imam, said the upgrading of access roads in the Zongo area, construction of a pre-school and an abattoir had enhanced the image of the community.

He said government’s school feeding programme had also increased enrollment in the Zongo schools with many more parents developing the interest in educating their children.

Alhaji Shaibu Hamani, an Elder at the Zongo, expressed joy that young people in the community were engaged under the National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP) and appealed to the Ho Municipal Assembly to construct a clinic in the Zongo.**
