Kasapreko donates to Aboakyir Festival

KASAPREKO Company Limited (KCL) has presented a cash of GH c500.00 and drinks of the company as well as t-shirts and other souvenirs valued over GH c500.00 to the Effutu Traditional Council of the Ewutu Effutu Senya District of the Central Region towards this year’s Aboakyir Festival of the Chiefs and people of the Effutu Traditional area.

The Company, which has since 2002 been supporting the Aboakyir Festival, also made the same presentation towards the regatta (boat competition) and tag-of-war, which are among the highlights of the festival.

They also sponsored the regatta by painting the contesting boats as well as giving prizes to the winning teams.

Present at the ceremony were the paramount chief of the area, Neenyi Ghartey VII, elders of the Effutu Traditional Council and some staff of KCL, Francis Ansah and Raymond Kassah, both Brands Executives of Kasapreko Company Limited.

Making the presentation, Mr. Ansah expressed the company’s joy in associating itself with such an acclaimed festival, which he said known globally.

He said KCL is poised to supporting festivals and programmes of the general public as such gestures formed part of company's social responsibilities.

Mr. Ansah who noted that since KCL is a local company, stressed that the company would always give back to the people what it has received from them and as such urged them all to continue doing business with the company.

He maintained that consumers would always have value for their money and would never regret doing business with them, saying that there are more good things to come from the company.

The Company is also organising a street carnival to bring some fun to the festival today as part of activities to climax the festival.

Neenyi Ghartey, who received the items on behalf of the Council, commended KCL for their continuous support towards the festival, saying that such donations have always gone a long way to making the celebrations successful.

The Paramount chief hoped that the long standing relationship between them would be deepened.
