People in authority advised against looking down on subordinates

Mrs Esther Hamilton, proprietress of the Light of the World School at New Aplaku in the Greater Accra Region, has admonished people in authority not to look down on their subordinates no matter their conditions.

She appealed to people in authority to also eschew pride in their dealings with people.

Mrs Hamilton gave the advice when she donated food items, toiletries and cash to inmates of the Prison Camp at Awutu.

She appealed to Ghanaians to support persons in need saying “try as much as possible to be your brother’s keeper”.

Mrs Hamilton appealed to Christians to emulate Jesus Christ for his compassion, particularly for children, women the needy and those in prison.

She commended the prison authorities for working assiduously to promote the welfare of prisoners, and advised the inmates to return to their homes as reformed people.
