The Chairman of the National Democratic Congress in the South Tongu Constituency, Mr. Raphael Kuvi, has enjoined members of his party to work together for the common good of the party.
He said a divided constituency might reduce the votes the NDC could garner in election 2016.
“My advice is for all to come together and work as a team. Once we are divided, our votes in 2016 may reduce,” he told the Daily Graphic in an interview.
He was discussing measures the constituency was putting in place towards enhancing votes during the 2016 election.
He pointed out that some people within the constituency were dragging the good name of the party in the mud.
“The agenda is to destroy the current leadership without any basis and remove them from office,” he stated.
He told the Daily Graphic that he was not happy as a constituency chairman of the NDC because of petty divisions but disclosed that every effort was being made to bring everybody under the common umbrella for the good of the party.
On preparations towards Election 2016, Mr. Kuvi said they were intensifying their campaign to let the constituents know the good works being undertaken by the government.
He gave an assurance that, by 2016, the NDC government would have attained its better Ghana agenda for all.
He, therefore, called for support from all ranks to enable the government to meet its targets.
