The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will this week hold another meeting to deliberate on proposals put before the party by its Steering Committee.
A meeting held last week to respond to the proposal failed to reach a definite conclusion as executive members disagreed on some of the proposals.
The proposals among other things sought to elect a flagbearer before national, regional, constituency and polling station executives.
The 12 paged document has also proposed that sitting Members of Parliament be allowed to go unopposed in the 2016 elections.
Sources within the Committee confirmed to Citi News in an interview that, the two proposals would be rejected at this week’s meeting.
