I am happy Asiedu Nketia has been tagged a "professional liar"

The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport designate, Joseph Yamin has expressed delight with the “Professional liar” tag given to the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, also known as General Mosquito, by counsel for the NPP, Madam Gloria Akuffo.

“I am so happy that she qualified the "liar" with "professional" because no matter what you feel like doing, you would have to do it and do it well so that you would be applauded. I always draw lessons from a song by Culture in which he says, a rich man advised his son that ‘you can steal but please don’t be caught’. If it is stealing you want to do then be an expert in it so that you do not get arrested.

“Asiedu Nketia is a liar. If she had only stated that fact, I would have had a problem with it but because she added the ‘professional’ am so happy,” he said.

Joseph Yamin, who is also the NDCs Ashanti Regional Secretary made these comments on Adom TV on Wednesday, in reaction to the ‘professional liar’ description of General Mosquito by Madam Gloria Akuffo.

The astute lawyer stated on Tuesday after Supreme Court proceedings that the General Secretary of the ruling NDC is on a mission to deceive Ghanaians by misrepresenting the legal actions of the Supreme Court.

Madam Akuffo was of the view that, “as for him, the only job he came to do is propaganda, deceive Ghanaians and lie about every issue that pops up”.

The legal practitioner said this in reaction to the assertion by General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia that the petitioners and their lawyers seemed not ready to kick start the case and likened them to a “J.H.S pupil who wants to see answers to questions of his exams before the paper starts”.
