Subin Constituency Launches Campaign

The Subin constituency over the weekend was in an ecstatic mood as the Member of Parliament for the area, Isaac Osei organized a people’s forum and later on launched his campaign to seek re-election into Parliament.
The momentous occasion was graced by party stalwarts such as Hon. S.K Boafo, Hon. Dr. Akoto Osei, Hon. Kennedy Agyaong, Hon. Gifty Klenam, Hon. Maxwell Kof Jumah, Hon. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Hon. Catherine Afeku, Ayisi Boateng, Otiko Djaba, Abu Jinapor, Muktar Bamba, John Boadu, Madam Patricia Appiagyei et al.
Hundreds of enthusiastic supporters defied the rains to support their Member of Parliament at the Amakom Division school park.
Addressing the charged crowd, Mr Isaac Osei, highlighted on some numerous projects he has undertaken within the constituency since his assumption into office. These include: Distribution of 100 computers and printers to public schools within the area, sewing-machines to two vocational institutions, provision of street lights to all electoral areas, building of bio-gas plant and boreholes at Ahmadiyya SHS and some selected communities, provision of scholarships to 220 students, provision of 50 fish ovens to some market women, rehabilitation of a railway bridge and some school blocks among others. Hon Osei answered questions on a wide variety of issues.
According to him, the NPP has an enviable track record not only in economic management and infrastructural development but in its social policies which are geared towards mitigating the plight of the people. He added, “The Free Maternal Healthcare, NHIS, School-Feeding Program, LEAP, Capitation Grants for basic schools and NYEP were all viable programs designed and implemented by the NPP regime which are now in a mess under the ruling NDC government”.
He mentioned that the NDC government must make infrastructural development a priority in its administration, and also urged government to rehabilitate the Yalewa Zongo roads and the Anlo-Fante-Newtown and Afful-Nkwanta drainage systems, all within the constituency.
He therefore encouraged the teeming supporters gathered to spread the good policy initiatives of Nana Akufo-Addo to provide Free SHS, strengthening of the NHIS and the creation of jobs.
The Subin MP finally entreated supporters to remain vigilant on Election Day to prevent rigging, and also turn-out in their numbers to vote massively for the NPP in ensuring a first-round victory for the party.
