Unlike what some members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) are saying - that the Mahama-Amissah-Arthur ticket is much weaker one than the Mills-Mahama, close associates of the NPP flagbearer, Mr. Williams Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo believe that the Mahama-Amissah Arthur may be weaker, but can still beat the NPP.
One of such person, Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, has said, the NPP will file a complaint with the National Media Commission (NMC).
The import of Titus-Glover’s comment is that the State Broadcaster (i.e. GTV) failed to capture his flagbearer filing past the mortal remains of the late President John Evans Atta Fiifi Mills.
This indeed, confirms certain credible information The Informer has picked up that, Akufo-Addo must be given much publicity, since defeat is staring him in the face December, 2012.
Titus-Glover believes also that his flagbearer being seen filing past Professor Mills’ body might encourage some floating voters to vote for him. This is what can best be described as fighting for funeral votes.
If the NPP was not so desperate, why should they bother whether Nana Akufo-Addo was shown or no, filing past the body of President Mills?
However, many Ghanaians who were watching television said they found it difficult to spot Akufo-Addo since he was overshadowed by a crowd of a very tall funeral group.

NPP blames Mahama and GTV over ‘no show’ of Nana Addo in coverage
The New Patriotic Party has blamed President Mahama and Directors of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, for deliberately not capturing their presidential candidate Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo in the television coverage on the first day of the late president's funeral.

A member of the NPP communication team, Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover said the NPP was shocked at the attitude of the state broadcaster and will file a complaint with the National Media Commission in order to correct it.

He described the development as unacceptable, knowing that the state broadcaster is funded with tax payer’s resources.
Mr. Titus-Glover said they have the feeling the camera crew was probably took instruction from higher authorities.

He challenged the president to come out and state his position on the issue if he had nothing to do with it.
The member of the NPP communication team rejected the suggestion that the cameras may have missed Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo because he was short in height; rather he said it was impossible for other members of Nana Addo’s delegation to be captured but miss Nana Addo.
