Hundreds of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters defied the rains on Monday to witness the grand campaign launch of the parliamentary candidate for the Dome-Kwabenya constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo.
The event, which took place at the Taifa Park, attracted NPP bigwigs such as former President John Agyekum Kufuor, its flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo, lawyer Atta Akyea, Sheikh I.C Quaye and Yaw Osafo Maafo among other dignitaries.
Speaker upon speaker drummed home the need for Ghanaians to bring back the opposition NPP to power during the December elections.
Nana Addo said Ghanaians are going to experience an unprecedented administration under him when he gets their nod since his tenure will know “no Woyome scandal.”
“There will be no Woyome under me. Never,” he chanted.
Former President Kufuor reinforced Nana Addo’s stance, adding Ghanaians should vote for his candidate to save the ailing economy.
They both urged the constituents to give madam Safo the chance to represent them in Parliament because she is poised to help them solve their education and infrastructure problems among others.**
