"Re-nominate Ms Koomson as MCE"- NDC activist

Akyem Oda, April 24, GNA - Mr Kwesi Nkansah-Amaniampong, the 2004 National Democratic Congress (NDC)

Parliamentary candidate for the Akyem Oda Constituency, on Friday appealed to the people of the area to support the re-

nomination of Ms Ophelia Koomson as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Birim Central. He appealed to members of the Birim Central Assembly, in particular, to vote massively for Ms Koomson, to become the

MCE to move the development agenda of the municipality forward. Speaking to the GNA, Mr Nkansah-Amaniampong urged the assembly members not to be misled by anybody and rather

give Ms Koomson 100 percent support on the voting day. Mr Nkansah-Amaniampong indicated that he had worked closely with the nominee when she was the Akyem Oda

Constituency Treasurer of the NDC and saw her to be disciplined, loyal, trustworthy and dedicated to the NDC. On the issue that the nominee is not an Akyem, Mr Nkansah- Amaniampong said Ms Koomson had stayed at Akyem Oda

for over 35 year and even owns an immovable property in the town. He appealed to the people to ignore those trying to frustrate the efforts of President John Evans Atta Mills to get a

dedicated and committed person to push his better Ghana agenda forward. 24 April 10
