Central Regional Reform Party throws its weight behind NDC

The Executives and supporters of the Central Regional branch of the National Reform Party (NRP) have declared their support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the December 7 elections.

Mr. Ishmael Kofi Turkson, Central Regional Chairman of the Party who spoke at a press conference at Swedru, said this was to ensure that NDC wins the election to continue the second phase of “Better Ghana Agenda.”

Mr. Turkson said, the country had, within four years, seen tremendous infrastructure development and other social improvement in the areas of health, education and sanitation.

He appealed to the supporters who would be campaigning to be decent and avoid personality attacks and acrimony to ensure peaceful elections.

Alhaji Mohammed Mutahiki, Central Regional Campaign Coordinator of the NRP, said a campaign team of the party had been inaugurated to start work and it would run a parallel campaign with NDC campaign teams in the Central Region to win more seats in the Region.
