Social Joke: Otumfuo EXPOSED as Hearts supporter because of Kente colours

A trending joke on social media is mocking Asante Kotoko fans that their Life Patron and owner Otumfuo Osei Tutu is a Hearts of Oak fan.

This was after a photo of the Asantehene draped in a well-woven Kente (traditional cloth) with the Hearts colours.

Hearts fans claim the ruler of the Ashanti kingdom is a staunch supporters and despite his show of support for Kotoko.

But that has been treated with a pinch of salt and the Porcupine Warriors say it is sheer coincidence.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu fulfilled his promise after presenting the team with a new bus and also pledged to a handsome winning bonus if they beat Hearts.
