Goalkeeper’s trainer for Asante Kotoko, Joe Baah Agyemang has urged out of favor shot stopper Eric Ofori Antwi to quit the club.

The 23-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors from Amidaus Professionals in 2013 as first-choice goalkeeper, but has fallen down the pecking order this season under interim manager Michael Osei and is currently third behind Ernest Sowah and Felix Annan.

Ofori managed just two appearances for the Porcupine Warriors in the just ended season but the goalkeeper’s trainer believes it about time Ofori quit the club.

Speaking to Adom Sports, Joe Baah said, “I think it about time Eric quits the club because he is up and coming goalkeeper and he needs more playing time.

“It is not easy to keep three good goalkeepers in the same team and if you take a look at our league matches, it not all that many so if you have goalkeepers who very committed and hard working, I think two goalkeepers will help but due to the cards and suspension that is bound to happen that is why we use all the goalkeepers but I think it about time he leave and I will plead that the management should grant him that permission because he also have a future.” He added.
