Addy retians her seat on GFA Executive Committee

Madam Leanier Afiye-Obo Addy has retained her seat on the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Madam Addy will remain the sole representive of Constituent bodies of the GFA Executive Committee for another 4-year term.

She polled six votes to beat Madam Habiba Atta Forson, who got two out of a total of 8 votes cast in the elections held at the GFA Secretariat on Monday morning.

Madam Addy will be part of the 22 individuals that will make up the committee.

Delegates for the election were drawn from the Constituent bodies which includes Women’s Football, the Referees Association of Ghana, the Security Services, School and Colleges, Coaches Association, Players, Juvenile Football and University Sports.

Elections for the representatives of the Premier League and Division One Clubs will be held on Tuesday, September 29, at the secretariat of the GFA.
