Taekwondo special training courses for Refs, coaches and players

Officials of the Ghana Taekwondo Federation have revealed to sportscrusader.com that special training courses are currently underway for referees, players and coaches to help enlighten them with the modern trend of the sport in the country.

To ensure better standards in performance, the xTKD Foundation is running a special training for referees, coaches and players in breaking.

The special training courses, which is starting this November, Sundays and Wednesdays, from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm at the WAM Taekwondo Academy in Tema Community 12.

Patrick Johnson, General Secretary of the Ghana Taekwondo Federation, is of the opinion that the latest courses for the various stakeholders will help equip them with the latest approach to the Taekwondo sport.

“I’m glad that the xTKD is organizing such courses for our referees, players and coaches, it will help them in their day-to-day activities when it comes to Taekwondo. A lot of things are changing in the game and we are hoping that our people will be well equipped with the modern trend of the game.”

Meanwhile, coaches are to register their players for the xTKD Championships and the Korean Ambassador’s Cup by the 25th November and 6th December deadlines respectively.
