Kotoko end Medeama's unbeaten run

Medeama have seen their lead at the top of the Glo Premier League cut to one point after losing 1-0 to Asante Kotoko on Sunday in Tarkwa.

A goal by Kofi Nti Boakye on the stroke of halftime ended Medeama's five-game unbeaten run in the league.

The win, Kotoko's second consecutive victory lifts them to fourth on the standings as they are now three points adrift the top.

And it will serve as a morale booster ahead of their crunch meeting with rivals, Hearts of Oak on match-day-7 on November 18 in Kumasi.
