Kennedy Ashia expects difficult game against Kotoko

Kennedy Ashia has indicated that Liberty Professionals are well prepared for the test of Asante Kotoko as the two sides lock horns on Sunday in the First Capital Plus Premier League match day 18 at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park.

Liberty have been very impressive in recent times and have gone 6 consecutive matches in the ongoing league without a defeat.

The Dansoman boys have therefore been tagged favourites in their clash against the inconsistent Asante Kotoko side, but their marksman believes the game would be a difficult one.

“The fact that we defeated Kotoko last season at home, doesn’t give us the upper hand as some people might consider,” Kennedy Ashia told Metro FM.

“Just last season Kotoko were champions, so the fact that that they have been inconsistent doesn’t mean we should underrate them because they even managed an away win against Olympics.

“We have prepared well for the game and are hoping to earn all the three maximum points.”

Kennedy Ashia has scored 8 league goals in the 2014-15 Ghana Premier League, whiles Ahmed Toure has 9 goals for Asante Kotoko, so it would be a show of class between these two strikers.
