Kona-Ebiradze-Odomna Family donates to Effutu Hospital

The Kona-Ebiradze-Odomna, Ebusua of Winneba, has donated a quantity of assorted food items, which included bags of rice, boxes of sugar, oranges, some bread and soaps worth about Gh¢10,000.00 the Effutu Municipal Hospital.

The donation is their support in helping to them carter for their brothers and sisters on admission at the facility.

Presenting the items at the Hospital, Mr. John E. K. Pratt, Abusuapayin of the group said they came together to help themselves and other venerable people in the area.

He said the donation also forms part of their social responsibility and that this was the third time they had extended the support to the facility, and added that, they will continue to support the facility to promote quality health care delivery to all who visit the place.

Mr. Samuel Owusu Ansah, the Staff Nurse who received the items on behalf of the management of the facility, thanked the donors for their kind gesture and promised that they will be utilized for the purpose for which the items were donated.

Earlier in the day the group paraded through the Winneba township amidst brass band music to create awareness of their existence for other migrants in the area to join in order to receive help from the society when the need arises.
