Health workers, volunteers to undergo training

Twenty health workers and 50 volunteers in the Upper Manya Krobo District are to undergo health communication training to improve their work on community health education exercise.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mrs Sarah Donkor, the District Director of Health Services, said the trainees would be taken through effective communication skills and good environmental practices.

Mrs Donkor said all participants would be entitled to education materials, personal hygiene kits and other necessary materials, which would facilitate their work and enable them to carry out their work on the field.

She said the trainees were expected to use film shows, as well as community durbars in schools and market places in undertaking the project.
