Celebrity hosts Family Fun Day Golf

Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono has organised the ‘Mega Coca-Cola Family Fun Day’ to give golfers a first time experience of playing with their families and close relations.

According to officials of the club and organisers of the event, it was aimed at bringing families of the golfers together to have fun.

The 18-hole medal play drew close to a 100 participants from far and near.

It was Rymond Zigah, who picked the ultimate prize, a giant trophy after recording a net score 62, while J. Adjapon 67net beat F.K. Dorky on count back in the men’s category.

Jessica Tei finished first in the lady’s event with a score of 70, while E.H. Hory and Ama Morgan won the second and third prizes, respectively.

Afrakomah Ampofoh distinguished herself to pick the girls U-10 ultimate prize with a 60 net score, while Nadia Amankwa, 66net, and Maame Yaa Konadu 69net followed in that order.

Abdul Aziz recorded a 59 net score to emerge winner in the boy U-10 event with Kofi Bonna Opoku score of 73 finished second.

Jang Won Seo reigned supreme in the boys 10-14 category, while Nana Kwadjo Opoku placed second with a 73net.

The girls 10-14 event saw A. Amankwa picking the ultimate prize with Xanthe Dadson and Aseda Wilson finishing second and third, respectively.
