Otumfuo Launch 'Find the Tiger'

Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has launched a special golf program, 'Find the Tiger.'
The special program is designed to whip up interest of the youth in Ghana in golf in other to join the international class.
Speaking at the 58th MTN Asantehene Gold Cup at the Royal Golf Club in Kumasi over the weekend, the King of the Ashante Kingdom said, " The future of golf is indeed bright due to its recognition across the globe, and with the Ryder Cup in Ghana and with the construction of the magnificent Achimota Club, it has positioned Ghana to attract world class golfers."
He, however, advised that the Royal Club be run on strictly business lines to be able to perform its corporate social responsibility in the region.
"MTN has consistently remained at the forefront of the telcos business, we are also proud to have ignited a great interest in golf. Our aim is to make it a popular sport, hence our sponsorship for tournaments like MTN Classic, Spoons and CEO invitational," Chief Executive Officer of MTN Serame Taukobong said.
The MTN Asantehene Gold Cup forms part of the activities of the annual Ashantifest which has run consistently for five years.
