It was Leticia Amponsah-Mensah, who grabbed the ladies Group A event after recording a course par of 71, beating Mona Myers-Lamptey by just a stroke. A 76 net score handed the third prize to Margaret Anderson.

Cathy Boateng 72, defeated Afua Konadu by four strokes to pick the ladies category B event, while Joyce Arousen placed third with a 79 score.

The closest to the pin prize went to Ibrahim Bah, while Pamela Yeboah won the ladies category.

Club captain Opoku in a post-event interview described the tourney as the best ever this year, taking into account organization, attendance and the level of competition.

He revealed that the club has put in place structures that will promote the sport, especially among the youth in the coming years.

First Atlantic Bank Executive Director Daniel Addo said “…What a fitting way to start our 20th year anniversary celebration. This is one of the many programs we have rolled out for the anniversary milestone.”

“We have done some donations earlier in the week, and this is one of our support in promoting golf in the country. I am impressed with the organization, it’s been successful.”
