Upper WestThe upper west region is the 10th in the regionalisation of the country for administration purposes. it is the the youngest region that was etched from the then upper region and run from Bolgatanga.Without bdelving into detail about the various tribes making up this region, it is important to note that 99% of the people here speak "DAGAARE" (the language of the people). the individual is referred to as a "DAGAAO" (plural is "DAGAABA"). one other minority tribe is the "SISALA".
