What a “Much Ado About Nothing”

– Oh Kwame Katakyie?

Be it known to you, Oh Katakyie Kwame Agyemang Opoku, that “obstinacy is the cause of the horns of the hornbill”. Try as you may, you will never be able to bring down whom God has blessed and designated to fulfil a special purpose. Be it known to you without mincing words that Nana Akufo Addo, the very person that you hate with passion, and energetically intend to defame beyond recognition, is under God’s protection. He is the Chosen One of God, whether you like it or not.

You can never harm him by your repeatedly recycled preposterous fabrications of utter lies. Your unrelenting efforts to destroy him by portraying him in bad light before Ghanaians will not wash as long as Ghanaians are becoming very discerning. You have been attacking his age, his physique and questioning about his health.

Let it interest you to know that he is healthier than you are - Katakyie Kwame Agyemang Opoku. Age is just a number and one is as old as his mind and body tells him/her. Is old age not an indication of wisdom? Do we not value intelligence and competence in government more than how beautiful, tall, legged and fat one is?

The way you are conducting your campaign to have your paymaster, Mr Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremateng, elected, by needlessly soiling Nana Addo’s name is more of a condition of “much ado about nothing” (a big fuss over a trifle). You attack him without actually making any sense. You are not talking about what the person you are supporting will be able to do for Ghana. Will it not be better to market your candidate on positive attributes or notes rather than on the negative campaign messages you are running with intent to damage Nana Addo?

The more you wantonly try to destroy Nana Addo, whimsical as you appear, the more his position gets propped to win both the NPP flagbearership and the 2016 presidency.

My modern day “David” will floor the Ghana NDC Goliath (Mahama), in 2016. Again, my modern day “Joseph” will floor Katakyie Kwame Agyemang Opoku and his schemers who are wilfully tarnishing the reputation and image of Nana Addo just to pave the way for Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremateng.

Do you destroy your colleague in the opposite market stall to sell your wares/goods? Have you never heard our elders say, “yen nnkum odwafo3 enni edwa?” Literally translated as, “you do not kill a fellow trader to be able to market your goods”

No matter what Katakyie and his cohorts of admirers do, they cannot deny Nana Addo the positions God has earmarked for him. Mahama stole Nana’s position through a botched-up Supreme Court verdict on Election 2012. See how Mahama has intentionally or inadvertently destroyed Ghana’s economy. If you resort to foul means to usurp someone’s position, so shall your end be – a square peg dangling in a round hole to the derision of the whole world.

Have you learnt your lesson now, oh Katakyie? Your efforts, as hollow as they appear, are comparable to the morning dew that disseminates with the rising sun. You will within months become history because your mischief will end without achieving its objective.

Repent, oh ye Katakyie Kwame, to be forgiven your sins against Nana Addo and all the suffering Ghanaian masses.
