To the NPP delegates: the success of election 2016

To the NPP delegates: the success of election 2016 begins at the grassroots.

By: Fred Kwaku Amankwah-Sarfo, an Aspiring Vice Chairman of N.P.P
DELEGATE

The 2016 elections present another great opportunity for our party, the N.P.P to seek the mandate of Ghanaians to serve in government and help improve the quality of life of our citizenry.

I humbly seek the votes of our delegates to repose their confidence in me as the National Vice Chairperson of our party, the N.P.P.
I believe that our success depends largely on our ability to strengthen our grassroots. Appropriate support systems and structures would be put in place to ensure that our constituency offices are resourced and put the position to be able to supervise effectively all polling stations in their jurisdiction.

I am inspired by the commitment of our constituency and regional executives and their resolve to work for the party to achieve our objectives for 2016.
I am ready, willing and capable of working to ensure that the appropriate tools needed to motivate you and to help you to contribute to the party's desire in the 2016 elections.

This would be done through:
1) The institution of the registration of party members and payment of membership dues at the Constituency level in order allow enough funds to run the various constituency offices. Most donations to the party are received at the national level, the constituency and regional levels are staved of adequate financial resources to run the offices. Humble Fred would work to change this unfortunate trend.

2) The refurbishment and Resourcing of all constituency and regional offices with appropriate office equipment needed to run a modern office. Computers, printers, scanners and other ICT gadgets would be supplied to all constituency and regional office for efficient running of the office.

3) The training of constituency and regional executives who so need would be given required certificate professional training in ICT with the skills, knowledge and competence levels required for election 2016 agenda.

4) The periodic training of executives on electoral systems and development courses to be offered. Arrangements are advanced to have experts in various fields to offer such training. Some of these experts are from academia, business entrepreneurs both local and international.

5) Training in human behaviors in organizations and conflict management skills would be given to help address some pertinent issues before they escalate.

6) I am going to run an open door policy using where National Executive officers would have to respond with great concerns brought to their notice within an agreed time lines.

7) Technology and other social media platforms are going used to ensure information flow and discussion of issues in real time.

8) The working relationships between polling station executives and their constituency executives would be made to be as cordial and professional as possible.

9) The relationship of the N.P.P and all stakeholders in the electoral system spectrum would be enhanced with respect, decorum and circumspection.

10) My skills and core competences in organizational behavior, ICT training and strategic corporate principles knowledge, the New Patriotic Party (N.P.P) can be turned into an election winning machine.

I humbly urge you to vote for me as your Vice Chairperson and experience innovative ideas to winning elections 2016.

Thank you
Your humble Fred Kwaku Amankwah-Sarfo.
