I will buy u a ticket from London to Accra and back.
And if you get to Ghana, look carefully and you will find Ashantis who are not 'too short, too black' and can speak and write your beloved English language.
As for the witches: they are always female. Male witches are Benbonsam, a thousand times more treacherous than the female type. But the Benbonsam were so rare that the Oracles could hardly find any.
The female witches were old and poor, a phenomenon which made old age a tragedy. Actually, the witch thing in Ghana is discrimination against women.

The writer of the article failed to appreciate that everyone loves his or her mother. The question is, 'why do some people kick out their mothers from their homes?' The writer should have gone to places where the accused women come from to see scores of women of the same age living with their families. Will this writer allow his/her aged parent who toiled to put up a house in which s/he is living in now to be sent somewhere to be catered for by unknown people?

The new government must stop and assist those that are trapped in hamlets like this and asssist them with mental health needs.

Unfortunately the scourge of witchcraft is still a very real part of our lives. Those who deny the existence of this phenomenon are deluding themselves and have been brainwashed by the still extant colonial education system ,and by "science".
What is needed is a more humane approach to the matter, after first accepting its very real nature. Denial born of delusion must end.

We are now BETTER informed about ALL aspects of HUMAN life! Such CAMPS SHOULD NOT EXIST ANYMORE IN ANY COUNTRY!

Wicked Spirits inherit the earth and rules the globe since the fall of Satan and his allies...The Kingdom of Devils exist and well organized. Their mission is to become ARCH ENEMY OF CHRIST the Redeemer and manipulate mankind by way of robbing, destroying and killing any thing they deem right and their objective is to rule and control any juridiction on the earth.
The make shift camp at BONYASE host DEMONS,WICKED SPIRITS,FAMILIAR SPIRITS
and those families who deport their grand moms, siters, dad and relatives there thinking that will end their afflictions are JOKING. JOKING JOKING.
The solution lies by sending them to the Christian Ministries led by the HOLY GHOST (not fake spirit or fake pastors , prophetess, bishops ).
Secondly, the Communities and Distric Assemblies must intervene and alleviate the suffering of these victims as well as the elderly by building Social Centers and HOSTELS in support of our elderes in destitute
Afterall they are our mom, grand mom tormented by wicked powers. The church must also intervene by relaing the good news of JESUE CHRIST to deliver them after all this is part of mission

I hope the writor of this article is also aware that old age home in europe is not free! That people pay heavily to have their aging parents housed and treated till they die? How many of these so-called abandoned old people branded as witches and victims of witches can pay for the accomodations, feeding and medication? How many of people in Ghana have social security scheme in Ghana? How many people can afford to pay for their parents to be housed in old age home? Especially when it comes to these unfortunate women who have become victims of witchcrafts, will their famil members pay for them to be taken care of in the old age home? Build old age home is certainly not enough, but a good idea which I believe is not Ghanaian. Should these homes spring up in Ghana, people will take advantage of it to make money for themselves and leave old people to suffer the same way their suffering in the witch camps. It is better to stress that people are educated on the subject of witchcraft and help them accept the fact that old age is not associted with witchcraft!
