Atta-Wayo Mills Has Desecrated The Presidency

Sarpong, Justice

No President in our annals of political history has assumed the Presidency with such goodwill and respect accorded Atta Mills due to his self acclaimed 'Asomdwehene' moniker and wearing his christianity on his shoulders,sermonizing and pontificating to us than the Pope. Unfortunately this Bible thumping hypocrite dropped the ball from the word go and has desecrated the office of the Presidency through his appointments, especially in the person of his spokesman, Koku Anyidoho. The words Presidential Spokesman should not be taken lightly and the office should be occupied by men and women matured in intelligence and not buffoons like Anyidoho assisted by that 'infant terrible' Okudzeto Ablakwa.

President Mills administration was not given any chance to succeed the moment he started appointing people who will help him run the administration. He did not appoint people with pachydemic characteristics and instead appointed mammonists and liers who have no respect for the offices they were appointed to. First and foremost the President was confused when he appointed two people with two different titles with the same job functions, when he appointed Ayariga and Koku as Communication Director at the Presidency and Presidential spokesman. When he realised a mistake has been made and tried to make amends, he jettisoned the wrong person, Ayariga and kept an afficacy challenged and a ninnyhammer in the person of Anyidoho.

Why am I saying President Mills has desecrated the Presidency? Koku Anyidoho has been a remora in communicating the Presiden's policies or to explain why the President took certain decisions because in Koku's world, it is not about the Presidency but all about his sumo wrestlers self. He vilipends the President and the Presidency and instead this hircine has taken the opportunity by virtue of his office to advance his personal goals and settle political scores. Koku Anyidoho either he has taken vacation from his faculties or is just a plain buffoon is using his position to throw his massive weight around not realising that, whatever he says in his position as the Presidential Spokesman affects the office of the President and the President himself.

There have been three occassions recently when Koku instead of showing maturity and responding to criticism behaved like a village idiot. The first one was when Koku insulted people who were complaining about the high cost of living and complained about the price of a ball of kenkey. Instead of the Presidential Spokesman responding to the issue at stake with sensible reposte went off tangent and as usual showed his primitive animadvert self by saying;

"He said those “who have made the presidential inquisition of kenkey price their chewing stick should go ahead with it because clearly they want to use that to “clean” their discolored and stinking” teeth. Koku Anyidoho made the statement when he commented on the president’s visit to the Nima Maamobi and Mallam Atta markets in Accra on Emak FM, a private radio station in Koforidua yesterday."

To Koku Anyidoho, anybody who criticises the President has a bad and smelly mouth. What he failed to realise is that, he did not insult just his political opponents but also people in his NDC party who also buy kenkey and other essentials from the same market at the same price. He failed to realise that, his response and the words he used as a Presidential spokesman made it not different as if President Mills has uttered the words himself and that is not how the office of the President should behave if we have to respect the Presidency even if we do not agree with the occupant of the seat. Koku being a fool and a buffoon that he is did not even take the opportunity to right the wrong he has done when the host of the programme gave him another opportunity to clarify matters and instead made his first colorful comment more vivid with, "When the host of the show, Francis Annoh-Dompreh asked him to clarify what he had said, he sang a song to further buttress his point, saying “chewing sticks are meant to whiten discoloured teeth” therefore the president’s critics could use his visit to the Nima market to clean their “discoloured and bad teeth". Koku Anyidoho is not doing the President any good with his pugilistic behaviour because we have passed through the dark ages where Koku's behaviour would have been more appropriate. We are living in the twenty first century where his woolgathering stupidity is not appropriate. The office of Presidential Spokesman is metempirical to Koku and he should rather have been appointed as the President's dog walker or elevated to be President Mills personal driver.

Koku being the lummox that he is resorted to the same cant a couple of days later when addressing the FONKAR dissolution went bonkers and as usual resorted to his sophomoric vituperations.

"Koku Anyidoho, on Wednesday, unleashed a barrage of acid comments on FONKAR, when in an interview with Radio Gold, described members of the group not just as infants, but "diaper-wearing, bed-wetting political infants who have grouped themselves into some something, and think that they are going to be able to sink the president in their bed-wetting agenda.” As if that was not caustic enough, he then extended his sulfurous denunciations into casting of innuendos directed at a particular FONKAR member he referred to as a “complete rogue, a vagabond, a miscreant and a jail-bird…who was orbiting in London somewhere but now walking in Ghana”.

President Mills by appointing rogues, dogs and people with dubious characters is sleeping with dogs and waking up with fleas all over him. How can a Presidential spokesman resort to this kind of behaviour and expect the respect of the genral public? This is really sad and this behaviour should not be tolerated. In a sharp rebuttal, Owusu Bempah of FONKAR who received the butt of Koku's stupidity responded with his own fool soldiers know how.

"But in a sharp riposte on Okay FM 101.7, Owusu Bempah, amidst protestations from the host, Kwame Nkrumah "Tikese", replied in kind measure to the scathing verbal attacks when in an equalizing mode, tore into President Mills’ mouthpiece accusing him of being a homosexual, swearing on anything sacred that as a result of “the vibrators Mr. Anyidoho pays women to stick into his a***, he now wears diapers”. “Koku Anyidoho is the only man in Ghana I know who pays dollars to people to give him sexual gratification through his anal region. His a** leaks and he has resorted to the use of diapers to curb the out flow of fluids,” he claimed."

WAOW!!!, so Koku is a homosexual? I will leave that alone for another article. Koku is not just a fool but continue to lie like a sailor. In other to blanket the Woyomegate scandal, Koku promised the whole country that, Asem Dakey, the Togolese drug dealer of MV Benjamin 77 parcel cocaine fame has been naming very important people in NPP and even went as far to implicate President Kuffour as one of those who have been implicated by this drug baron from Togo but so far nothing has come out of Koku's lies and Asem Dakey is already in court proceedings and no NPP bigwig has been implicated. Is Koku ignorant or just a moron? We have accepted Koku's stupidities but when ignorance is accepted for moral and rational thinking, we as a society got problems. President Mills instead of pulling the rug under his miscreant appointees and showing them the door, continue to preach against the politics of insults when the insults are coming from his office. Atta Mills hypocrisy and Koku's stupidities are a match made in hell and Ghana needs to throw the two out of office and clean the stench at the castle.

President Mills if he wants to leave any scintilla of respect at the Presidency should dismiss Koku as a Presidential Spokesman or at least have a talk with this behemoth who have bloated to such brobdinnagian domensions as to have entered the realm of absurdity to put a soaks in his mouth and get a clearance from him before he makes any public speech that can be attributed to the office of the Presidency.
