Great article by the Ghanian; I as a Nigerian I go by the saying "action speaks louder than words" so therfore, it is quite pertinent for we Africans to wake up and do what is right; which is being a great thinker and not just going to school to impress your parent but rather to acquire the most vital thing, which is knowledge and wisdom in other to make decisions on our own. Biil gates wasn't the best in his class but he happened to be the owner of microsoft, Wole shoyinka happened to come out with a 3rd class but he happened to be the best in understanding literature, Isaac Newton was a drop out but you can't do without mentioning his name in any area of science due to the theory he propounded. And many more.. To cut the whole story short, let's go by the saying of Martin Luther king Jn which says. " don't ask what your country will do for you but rather what you will do for your country". I rest my case

Eeach yr d no of students graduated from d non science field out nos the other. We can't make any meaningful development dat way. This is coupld with poor learning facilities and theorization of science cos.

I think it is a very good research, but i suppose there are external factors that also contribute to underdevelopment in Africa.such include long periods of colonialism
