*The fever is catching up with Ghanaians again; the continent of Africa cannot wait to see who lifts the cup this time. The question to be answered everywhere you go in Ghana is can the BLACK STARS win the cup after 30yrs since they last lifted the trophy?*

My answer is simple; they have no excuse for the third time in succession to give Ghanaians. Whichever way we will analyze their recent performances in the nations cup we will all agree that it is high time we bring the trophy home not because is a long time since we won the cup but it’s because the team have matured enough in recent past with South Africa 2010 the most recent performance that makes all football loving fans around the globe to be convinced that its Ghana’s time for glory.

How to win the trophy is the next most important question to be answered. How the black stars will win the trophy is asking all football lovers and the 20 million coaches in Ghana what the black stars should do on the field of play. This is where the argument starts in our homes, pubs and the various offices across the country.

The final twenty-three member squad is out and even though the tournament has not kicked off, some names on the list are being questioned and everyone who listens to update in the build up to this tournament will mention one name most of the back bench coaches in Ghana are asking, should Prince Tagoe be part of the team?

Prince Tagoe is popularly known as the prince of goals in Ghana, what is the matter with him now? Should we say he does not find his scoring boot when playing for the black stars or it’s a matter of time like we all criticize Asamoah Gyan sometime ago?

What we should know as football fans is that there is a difference between passion to win and the technical acumen you need in a game to win and that is why we pay a lot of dollars to the coach to lead us to victory. I think we should all pray as usual for the team and see what the technical team will do with Prince Tagoe in the tournament.

Yes, we can because we have the strength in terms of players, highly talented, ability to take pressure that comes with the tournament and the unity in camp in recent years gives everybody the reason to say bring the trophy home BLACK STARS.

All we need in this team is commitment to win the cup and playing for each other in every game.
