Columnist: Office Of Prof Mills

Confessions Of Allan Kyeremanteng

The chickens are coming home to roost and members of the NPP are now deeply enmeshed in all manner of confession.

Whiles Amoako Tufuor and co are confessing that the NPP is an Ashanti party, Allan “Cash” Kyeremanteng is also confessing that Atta Mills’ house-to-house campaign is hurting the NPP.

Over the weekend, Allan Cash was in Cape Coast and it was at a poorly attended NPP rally that Allan confessed like a catholic during confession time.

According to Allan Cash, it is true that the NPP has been mocking Atta Mills’ campaign style but it is about time that the party faces the truth and admit that the house-to-house campaign is working well for the learned professor.

Yesterday, both the Chronicle and the Heritage newspapers carried stories about Allan’s confession.

On page 2 of the Heritage, Allan was quoted thus: “Sometimes we mock Mills for going house-to-house but to tell you the truth, politics is not done on radio and television stations so we have to start the house-to-house campaign immediately”.

This was Allan Cash speaking to what is left of the NPP in Cape Coast.

It is now quite clear that all the noise that Peter Mac Manu and Lord Commey have been making about how ineffective the house-to-house campaign is, is because Atta Mills is stinging them with what he is doing.

It would not take a super brain to know that Allan Cash had to eat humble pie and accept that the NPP has been mocking itself in its desperate attempt to mock Atta Mills because of the countable number of people who were present at the poorly attended rally.

The man could not believe that Cape Coast of all places had turned its back on the NPP.

The NPP knows of the amount of work that Atta Mills has been doing in the Central Region and how the Fantes are singing the “Adze papa wor fie oye” tune and so they went to Cape Coast to test their strength.

And it was in testing their strength that they realized the damage that Atta Mills’ house-to-house campaign has caused in the Central Region and so Allan Cash had no option but to confess that the learned Professor is indeed touching the hearts and minds of the electorate with his innovative retail campaigning.

If for any reason people had any doubt that Atta Mills, the Christian soldier that he is, is marching to victory, the confession of Allan Cash should tell every discerning soul, in very plain language that, Atta Mills will be the next president of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana.

In fact, Allan Cash has asked the NPP to “immediately” embark on a house-to-house campaign as way of galvanizing votes for the party.

Unfortunately for Allan Cash, his advice has come rather late in the day because Ghanaians have already made up their minds to vote for Atta Mills and NOTHING is going to change their minds.

As for the cash that Allan Cash is throwing around, he is just giving back to the people the money that belongs to them and so people should collect in and chop “waa waa waa”.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Allan Cash Kyeremanteng’s heart is overflowing with the damage that the house-to-house campaign of Professor John Evans Atta Mills is doing to the visionless and moribund NPP and so he has spoken.
