Vote for Freddie Blay on April 12

The Progressive Liberal Democrats (PLD) in Northern region have appealed to delegates to the impending National Delegates Conference of the NPP, slated for April 12 in Tamale to vote massively for Honourable Freddie Blay as the 1st National Vice Chairman of the NPP to enable him bring his over 30years political experience to bear on the fortunes of the NPP towards victory 2016.
In a statement issued to the press in Tamale and signed by Mr. Alhassan Haruna Habib, the group touted the political credentials of Honourable Blay and said: “the NPP cannot afford to neglect such a huge political experience in its next National leadership”.
Honourable Freddie Blay it must be recalled served in various capacities in the country. He was MP for Elembelle for 12 years. First Deputy Speaker of Parliament for 8years, Second Deputy Speaker for 4years and also served as chairman of the appointment Committee of Parliament for the 8years the NPP was in government.
He is the owner of the Daily Guide newspaper which has contributed greatly to the political development of Ghana. Honourable Blay is also a senior partner at Blay and Associates- a celebrated law firm in Ghana.
It is the view of the Progressive Liberal Democrats that when he is elected as First Vice Chairman of the NPP, he will come on board with all these political experience for the victory of the NPP in election 2016.
The group has therefore appealed to the delegates of the impending National Conference of the NPP to vote massively for Honourable Blay.
